Light bar question
Do you Expy pros think a light bar for a '99 Ford F-150 will fit a '99 Expedition? I found a cool one at a shop about an hour from me and want to throw it on my truck. Hard to say. I've seen so many different variations of front bumpers (different trims and the such) on that era F-series and Expedition. I'd say give the shop a call and see what they say. A good shop won't just quickly answer "Oh sure, it'll fit, no problems". Ask questions and express that there were different styles of front bumpers and you want to make sure it will fit before you buy. Also, inquire about returns if, in fact, it doesn't fit after you buy it and need to return it.
Maybe before you inquire about the F-series bar, first ask them if they carry a bar for a '99 Expedition. If they say no, then ask if the '99 F-series bar that they advertise on their website will fit your Expedition. If they say yes, check the part numbers and see if it's the same bar as the F-series one. Good luck and let us know how you make out.
