Just wondering, are those deep cycle marine batteries your using on that truck? Was hard to tell from the vid but kinda looked like it judging by the wingnuts on the battery post. If so it is my understanding that those don't work well on a vehicle application because of design. They are designed to run a load for long periods but they don't have capabilities for a quick high load burst such as starting a diesel. Just curious and I could be wrong.

When Interstate battery was still in town I used to run marine batteries.
Plowing snow, low RPM's lights, heater and snow plow all running would drain the batteries even with a 150 amp alternator.
The marines batteries held up to plowing better than regular batteries, but also did not have the CCA it get it running real quick in sub zero temps.
