I changed the rear fuel pump, and now when the truck is running it is pumping fuel into the front tank (to the point of overflow)
PO said front pump does not work, so I didn't use it (had about 1/2 tank of bad gas) now it is full. What to do now? Thanks
I bet this has been your big problem all along. Disconnect the lines from the tank and find a couple studs that are the right size, cut off the threads and grind down the edge smooth. When you're done you should have something that looks like this below, worked great on my truck. BTW... that's one of the actual plugs I made for my truck, the fitting on the left is a fuel line fitting but it's not what the one on the tank looks like. On the tank fitting there is a fork like clip that will sit behind the hex of the stud and prevent it from being pushed out.
This was a post from my thread that I asked about front fuel tank block off. Thought maybe you'd like to see it
