Yesterday I saw in the local paper an add for a new mustang shelby whatever KR and they had a list price of $80,000 and said it was on sale. This is one reason car makers have fallen on hard times. Everyone knows it it absolutely inpossible for FORD to make a car worth that much. What a scam to even print such a price. It shows they are liers. Good GOD ITS STILL JUST A FRIGGIN MUSTANG......and under normal driving conditions will still be worn out in 3 or 4 years.......get real
A Shelby GT500 is far from just a Mustang. The 2010's will have 540hp and of course all the other upgrades I don't care to take time to list. They are also a very limited build and I guarantee you every single one will sell. I suppose the $150K Ford GT's were also a joke?
my uncle has a gt500 and a parnelli jones and got them from the same dealership. well they are in such need to sell these cars that they call him on his personal phone trying to get him to buy that $90k KR.
they told him it would be like $2300 a month...ouch
The KR was bult in limited numbers as a collectors car. it's the best shelby yet. Alot of them were sold in advance of production. They should not be wore out in 4 years, as any collector car, they should still be a round in 50 years.
I have yet to see a TV commercial dedicated to just the shelby's. I've seen them on commercials, but none to try to sell them. I guess with the shelby's they don't have to, they sell themselves. It's kind of mind blowing to me that you can buy a street car with about 600 hp. Back in the day, 600 hp was a dedicated track car that had to be trailored.
