More Problems need advice
Ok well it all started when my girlfriend was following me to the dealer so I could drop off my truck for the electrical issuses. We were 10 minutes from the dealer and she broke her tie rod. We get it towed and find another ride to get us home. Well tonight I went to my buddies to get his car dolly so we can take her car to her uncles to get fixed. Well I had to go through some snow. Well put it in 4 hi and started to go through. Well it got to a big drift so I floored it and got stuck backed up a little went forward and finally got out. Well in the whole process my buddy was sticking his head out the window and said my front passanger tire wasnt even spinning. It looked like it wanted to. I dont know about the passanger back one though forgot to ask. The driver sides were. Is this normal I mean it is 4 wheel drive so all the tires should be spinning. I know that sounds like a stupid question. They just replaced my IWE both hubs and silioid. My second problem of the night came as we got her car hooked up I was pulling the dolly out of the barn with my truck and there was some ice and snow by the door well the trailer tires hit it so I gave the truck some gas well it wouldnt move. Just rev really high and yes it was in drive. So put it back in 4 hi gave it some more gas still barely wanted to move. We were heading down the road and the insturment cluster said Trans Fault and my overdrive light kept flashing. It would still do 1200 rpms at 30 mph but when I hit a little bump it shot up to 2000. Dropped the car off shut the truck off light never came back on and it shifts fine now. Im taking this truck on a big trip pulling either a 4 place snowmobile trailer with a snowmobile in the back or a 2 place with a snowmobile in the back. Should I worry about something like this again? Do you think there was just snow on the sensor? I dont know what to do my luck this week has run out nothing but problems. Sorry its kinda long

Ok that makes sense. I have never had a problem with the trans untill I went through some deep snow. It was up to my running boards and it was 10 minutes after that when I had the Trans Fault light go off. I guess I will see what it does in the next couple days. Last night after I got back from taking the car I unhooked the trailer and the light wasnt on so I got on the road and stomped on it and it shifted smoothly. So I dont know Im hoping there was just snow on a sensor. Im going to hook up to my trailer to see how it tows.

I would have the OBD Codes checked out in the PCM and see if it stored any in its memory as Tylus suggested. Most likely snow had interferred with the sensor or tugged on its wiring on the tranny when you bottomed out as you went through that snow drift. Still worth while to have it checked out though just to be safe before you go on your trip.
