What year?

Did Ford switch from the E4OD to the 4R100? Were there any E4OD's behind Powerstrokes or was that just an IDI tranny?

e4od was 99 newer IIRC all OBS had the 4r100.......like I said IIRC

It's the other way around, Ron. E4ODs are in the OBS. 4R100 was later. So, the E4OD was in through '97

Oh....ok, so all the OBS trucks have the older tranny. Good to know. One of our chapter members is getting ready to order a rebuild kit for his 95, and I couldn't remember which one he has.

yep OBS is E4OD and SD is 4R

OOP's... I was havin a brain fart......oh well.....I guess thats why I had IIRC a couple times in there....damn furnace went out last night so I am workin on about 1hr of sleep....maybe I should come back tomorrow
