I know! I just can't wait till summer now. I went out and got a new fishing rod today too just so I'm ready for the up coming season.
I'm just not sure on how to get it to the lake though. It's either pull it with the Escape and take two vehicels to the lake and have to put gas into three things, or put in behind the camper and pull both with my truck. I'm sure the truck will pull them both because the FIL did it with a older less powerful f150, but then I will need a class 1 I think because both trailers will be over 10,000lbs.
You would probably never guess it but the boat is a '91 model. It's amazing the shape it's in, it has been well looked after. It has less than 200hrs on it. It's 18' bayliner capri with the 135HP 3.0L mercursier. The guy is getting divorced and needs to sell it. I had it at the dealer here in Regina to check it out before I made my decision because I couldn't very well run it in this cold weather. They where amazed the shape it's in and the only thing they said it needed was to have the oil changed in the leg and a tune up on the engine but I can do that myself. It should be a good beginner boat for us and do just what we want it to do.
