93 Bronco Starting Issues
Now last night went outside, started right up no problems. However, this morning i went out and tried, turned over, not starting. Thought it might be gas, went to the gas station put 3 1/2 gal in. Now at the moment i'm guessing it's the fuel line, possibly blocked, just bought the truck and was sitting for a little while. Was wanting some other input.
Thanks,
Derek
If you are in Northern climate perhaps the battery is low and only has enough power to turn over engine and nothing left for ignition, if battery voltage drops below 9.6 volts it is too low to fire engine and engine is turning over too slow to fire.
This could be caused by bad starter or bad Battery Positive of negative cable or connection(s).
Do you know how to load test a Battery and or the related battery cables and starter?
Rick.
Try the procedure for restarting after running out of fuel. Turn the key on (but not all the way for starting) for a second or two then back off. Repeat for ~10 times. Then try to crank it. If it cranks, I'll bet it will run rough and will cause the tranny to act really funny (limp home mode) and light the tbl light on the dash. If it does do that, go under the hood and disconnect the vacuum line to the regulator and plug the line. Leave it unplugged until you replace the FPR.
Thats what mine did, and my vacuum line is still disconnected-----first thing next Monday, I will replace the regulator
. Maybe yours is the same problem, if not, LOL
