hardest part is cutting the old stuff off......I built the truck in a weekend from stock to kinda what it is now....but it took a couple months to accumulate the parts.You can do the swap for less than 500.00 if you are creative....good luck finding a 85 pre truck cheap as they are a hot commodity now.
the IFS is not bad at all for mud.....they will hold up with 35's if you dont put a locker in it.......I took mine in some pretty tough trails with a just a rear LS when it was IFS....they also have upgraded shafts and lockers for them that guys run on the IFS.
