What is this?
I'm in the process of installing a new motor in my 72 2wd F100, 360/C6 auto and I came across this. It was just resting on the firewall, still hooked up but I know its not where it belongs. It had two wires running to it, one from the cab and the other goes to the tranny. Here are some crappy pics..

Looks like a solenoid to control vacuum to what ever the hoses were attached to.

Thanks for the responce. So I can just take it all off without affecting anything? The motor thats going back in is a 390 with Edelbrock carb, manifold, and Mallory unilite distributor.
