e99 35 inch Wrangler Duratracs No Lift (Picture Heavy)

UPDATED ***Trimming and Articulation Pictures Post #9****

Alright Ya'll, I have done tons of research looking for actual documentation of 35's on a stock truck (Changing wheels of course). And while I couldn't find a thread like this, I found enough information to feel comfortable trying it...

I didn't want to lift or level for financial reasons, maintaining the stock suspension... reason, and I don't like the look of a ton of wheel well. The tires on these trucks look small as it is.

Here is my setup:
16 x 8.5 MB Wheels 72 with a -6mm Offset
315/75/R16 Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs (Got over 50,000 out of my last set, so I went with those again... Best tires on the market in my opinion)

Here is the truck before on 33's, Not my best:

So, here is the truck now

Ok, So I did have to do some trimming, which is not complete yet. I found another area it rubs on the passenger side corner of the front bumper. That is getting chopped tonight. I have not done any articulation tests yet, but I think i have a good amount of space, and it's nothing a blade won't fix. This setup does not rub the leaf springs at full lock.

It also rubbed on the inner fender.

Solution:

Now some Comparions:

From the rear: 35's on the left, 33's on the right

View looking down at the rear: 35's left, 33's right

Rear of the Truck: 35's on the left, 33's on the right

Front of the Truck: 35's on the left, 33's on the right

Top down of the front tire widths: 35's on the left 33's on the rear

From the front: 35's on the... right, 33's on the left

Differential Clearance: 35's on the left, 33's on the right

and, lastly, Fitting a 35 inch spare tire under the truck: I had to bend the bracket a little bit

I am couldn't be happier with this setup, and I just wanter to share for all you other folks that might enjoy 35's and no lift.

36 and no lift on e99 with factory wheels. They rub though. A lot.

Glad you made this thread- Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs are what I am going to use also. I just haven't decided between 305's or 315's, and haven't decided at all on rims yet.

I'll probably be going with a leveling kit though- with us having pretty much the same truck (color aside), do you think leveling it would cure all or most of the rubbing if I went with the 315's?

No problem, Hopefully it will help people find the right information. save a lot of money if you choose to do it this way, and the smaller the fender gap while maintaining function, the better in my opinion.

That'll be sweet. There is someone on here with 40's on a 6 inch lift. Looks pretty good, Although I don't know that it would be too fun on the highway.

So tonight, we did a significant amount of triming to allow for articulation. I also documented it. Luckily, it came out pretty good in maintaining a semi stock looking wheel arch.

We cut about an inch off the front bumper and took the corners off, connected the body lines on the fender of the rear of the wheel wells, cut the fender liner up and back, and cut the steel out from behind the fender liner...

You can see an above picture of what was there before. This is what it looks like after:

And... Articlutaion photos, along with the finished product

Driver Side Flex:

Passenger Side Flex:

And just a normal picture after the chopping.

Sorry for the long post, but at least the info is out here. I will try to get into something that will put it into a wheel stand tomorrow and post up.. May not happen though.

I`ve been looking on here since I found this site for someone who did some "minor" trimming to go with larger tires, that came out nice.I`m eager now to wear out my toyo 35`s and go up to 37`s with just a 3" level and fenders trimmed like yours...Excellent thread sir this one should be popular as the "biggest no lift tire?" is always asked on here.

Is there a height difference on early 99 trucks? I'm looking to put 325 60 20 duratracs on my 01 with a leveling kit.

From what I have read, e99's are a little higher, but that should work. I am not expert though. I just tried it and was successful.

Here's a picture of flexin a little in the snow:
