you will be far ahead if you get a real gen 1 lightning. the cost of converting a daily driver or any truck to l specs will burn a very large hole in your pocket. trust me a gen 2 will eat your money just in upgrades for speed or bling. i have an o2 l it has 430rwhp 501 ftlbs torque and a stock block. you can buy a used econo car for less than what i have spent. not bragging just telling the truth,

I think a good 25% of us on the main L forums have spent over 10K bucks on our trucks.
