Hey guys,
I'm asking about this for my girlfriends dad 2000 7.3 excursion. He has a oil leak at the valve covers which is easy. He was also told he has the freeze plugs? leaking in the back of the engine. Does anyone know if this true? and if so how hard or what to do to fix the freeze plugs? If anyone could help me out that would be great
Greg
Greg, it happens with the freeze plugs, mine had a leak at about 18,000 miles. Seen a little puddle and a drip. Warranty fix along with turbo O-rings leak. It does happen, no problems since, at 111,500 now. What Ron said above.
