front end

In my 94 f250 idi what front end do I have the Dana 50? Or 44? I need a passengers side slip yoke and to rebuild most of it upper lower ball joints drag link tie rods etc ... Thanx

swap in a sfa dana 60 most likey u have a ttb 50

wow, what a name...practicalporn...

...any who, a dana 60 is rather expensive, so i have found out.

you can find out by looking on the bottom of the front axle, there should be a large number there, most likely it will be a dana 50 like Joe f350 said..

there is nothing wrong with a dana 50 ttb. they're great front ends.

i found donor trucks with d60 for like 800 to 100

ehh... yea but those axles most likely need extensive work done on them.

i did my research on swapping a Dana 60 with my Dana 50 and its a lot of work, and it didnt seem worth it.

Thats if you have a good functioning axle.

If i could get my hands on a good functioning Dana 60 i would put it on my truck in a heart beat, but i have no money for that and i am willing to work with what ive got.

i have one but its new and coil sprung and well time is running out i leave town at the end of the month and i have to have my vi done by then or i cant leave and that messes up everything so as much as i would love to do it i just dont think i can and money is tight becase of all the extra repairs and me having to pay a few months storage and thanx for the info it seems i may have the slip yoke lined up so i will just put it all together im thinking...... im not into doing anycrazy 4x4ing with it anyway

I have a f250 94idi xted cab and it has the ifs 50 as does my 81 one ton and that truck packed a lot of wieght up front and they were both trouble free. but i do try and keep all 4 wheels one the ground now days

Coil sprung? Is it out of a Dodge or something? Those are the only coil sprung 60's I know of.

05 and newer Fords also have coil springs.
