5.4 code info needed

My 2000 F-250 is turning the CEL on and setting code PO351 coil A and code PO352 coil B.

Rest of the story is the truck has 180K miles and was running great. About two weeks ago I did a 80K plug change and used OEM motorcraft plugs. Truck ran great for two days then started to miss under acceleration only and with in 50 miles dropped one cylinder completely and about half of another one but never set the CEL or code. Took to shop and mechanic buddy with some experiance with 5.4 says he has never seen one miss that bad and not set a code. He says, plugs are cheaper to try so I got another set and when we started to pull plugs he found some cracked boots and coils. at 180K we decided the old coils owed me nothing so we got 8 new ones, not OEM. For a week the truck runs great, and still does but yesterday the CEL came on and set code PO351 coil A. I cancelled out the codes. Today the CEL came on again and now it it says PO351 coil A and PO352 Coil B. truck still runs great. Anybody know what I should be looking for?

Look for a faulty electrical plug connection for the #1 & #2 COPs.

Chainsaws are easier....
