well i finally did it; i ran straight dual pipes right out the back of my truck. to make it look nice and pretty, i capped the ends with 2 monza glasspacked tips. all excited, i ran to start it and boy was i kind of disappointed. it wasnt loud and throaty like i expected. i know i only have a 360 in in (with no crossover and headers i might add) but still! for some reason, i thought it would be a real head turner but it isnt! could the tips have anything to do with it? now im waiting for the guys at the inspection station to tell me that THIS setup isnt any good---this is the THIRD time i changed it out and there is NO way im paying a local $500 to fab up a system on a truck that i paid 300.00 for--can ya blame me guys ?

I got a 460 with duals and 18 inch glass packs........my teacher gets so pissed (cuz i go by him when he is at the track everyday) he threatens to shove bananas up my pipes......and i was like haha.......and i dont even get on it........its extremly loud...i would think a 360 with straights would be really loud......my friend has a ch*vy 351 with headers and straights and it is as loud as mine if not louder.......so there is some comparison for you

i went with 2.5 inch dual pipes capped with a 10" monza glasspacked tip. i really didnt want to go with a muffler because a)thought it would sound better without one and b)tired of buying them and then cutting them off because DMV kept telling me they werent STREET approved! and c)$$$$ doesnt grow on trees to keep buying and buying; they even failed me for flowmaster 30 series! Go figure!
