I'm going to install a set of sanderson headers which are ceramic coated --already----Question----can I or should I put some additional heat proofing paint on the inside while I have access to them prior to installing---common sense tells me it would be money well spent , especially if if gives the metal a longer life ---I'm assuming it would have that effect!!!And , what kind of paint should i use to do this add'tl heat proofing?????thanks for your help folks , fd :-X11 :-X11

If you buy quality headers, don't worry about it. And especially don't coat the outsides! It will hold heat in, baking them from the inside. Doug Thorley specificall y states this in conjunction with their headers.
