Well ive got a 3 inch straight pipe on mine with a turn down behind the rear tire and id post a sound clip but phone doesnt record real all that good

I really did. Don't know why I never noticed it. I guess I had to hear it bouncing off an object with the windows down. See, it doesn't sound like a Diesel when you accelerate it off a stop, it just roars. It gets that diesel tone when you're cruising and give it fuel. Figure that one out!Huh. Wonder if I woule get more of a diesel tone throughout the rpm band if I replace the baffled muffler with a short louvered glass pack?

i was runnin a straight 2.75 galvanized feed auger pipe off of my walker downpipe no mufflers no cats.45'd before the rear rire with a 4" tip and ppl thought i had a diesel lol

hey bill put a glasspack on my truck today it has more of a deep some what diesel tone but it will sound better when i get my tail pipes and tips,the glasspack is a 2 1/4'' diamiter 25'' long thrush glasspack

i have a straight piped 242 (4.0L) inline six in my jeep, and it sounds like a diesel at certian times.
