Hi all, I finally got the truck back on the road last month. I bought it in May 2007 and was hoping to put it into use fairly quickly. Then I pulled the seats out to put some new ones in, and then removed the 'handbrake' to put a floor one in, then I found some rust so I took the dash out. then I thought why stop there so I tore everything else apart and began cleaning/fixing/rust repairing.
I found a lot of dodgy wiring so I rewired the whole thing too. The C6 was getting tired so it got a once over, along with the power steering pump/box.
It's still not totally finished, but it's usable and I'm in the process of moving house so I have to put up with the way it is until I can clear some time to finish it.
I got some slightly un-matched paint along the way and this really shows up in the side-on shot. I might fix that one day too. It's nothing special anyway, just industrial 2-pack.
