Off idle surge
I screwed up and posted this in a different section so I'll post it here also. I have a 95 powerstroke and I have an off idle surge. In other words, when turning around in the driveway or such, the transition from idle to on the throttle is basically too touchy. It surges to a few hundred RPM's higher. After reading around, I thought it was the accelerator position sensor. I changed it and nothing changed. I have been doing mech work for a long time but I am new to diesels so I am learning a lot.
