VHF Two way frequency

Hey any of you guys know the frequency that they use in the bush? "logging operations and trucking" Its 144.***Mhz I cant remember the last 3 digits.

I didn't see anything listed on the industry Canada frequency database but then maybe their not licensed? If you have a scanner you can set it up to go through the channels until u pick up the right one but it could take a while.

I just found it a little while ago. Went for a drive to one of the logging roads. The sign was still up. Turns out the frequency was 163.980Mhz They call it Hwy144 channel. Well i was right on part of it lol.

Do you have the link of the frequency database Frank?

I use this..

You can search by frequency range or geographic area. If you use area you have to convert Lat and Long into a format that works with the search.
