Water or hot tea when it's cold. I quit drinking coffee when I discovered I didn't need it over the holiday break.
For Al-kee-hol plain 'ol beer and when the mood strikes, JD, neat. I used to mix it with Coke but when consumed properly, it's much better neat.
Oh, and a friend of mine makes some killer Lemon Cello, with just the right amount of everclear

Mix drinks: Jager & Redbull, Jack & Coke, Jack & 7up, Strawberry Magarita, Coffee & Pensilvania Dutch (Spiked Eggnog)
Beer: Bud, Budlight, Bud select, Abita

Barq's Rootbeer,7up,Dr.Pepper,Coke, and water

When i'm at the bar, it's Jack and Coke, Coors Original and Jager Bombs. At home I keep the Gentleman Jack and Cokes to myself and when i'm not drinking it's Vitamin Water and bottled water and lots of juice (Cran, O.J. and so on) The only time I drink soda is when it's mixed with liquor

Not much on softdrinks. Occasionally an Ale8 or a coke though. Iced tea with a little sugar. Milk is always good. Even buttermilk.
As for beer, I prefer dark german style beers. Sam Adams, Amber Bock, if it's dark, I'll probably like it.
Whiskey, for a shot, Evan Williams Single Barrel Reserve, **** Creek, Jim Beam Black, Makers Mark, can't go wrong with any of them in my book.
Mixed drinks, whiskey sour, and bourbon slush.

Depends on the situation. If Italian food it is always a red wine. If any other dinner, at home, a micro brewer beer that my wife finds for 3.99 a six pack. If just for drinks only then: bourbon & a splash of water (Maker's Mark, Baker's, J.B. Choice, Woodford Reserve, Wild Turkey Russell's Reserve), Irish whiskey & a splash of water (Jameson's, Bushmill's Ten Year Old or Sixteen Year Old), tequila straight(Patron, Casa Noble, El Tesoro, Cazadores silver, reposado or anejo), homemade margaritas or a Sky High for a change of pace.

No alcohol. Regular Pepsi with pizza, occasionally regular Dr. Pepper. No, not none, ever, diet sodas! Mixed drinks - fruit juices with 10% by volume tonic water. (Us old timers need our quinine!). Some juices mix better than others.

I still make some of the "college" drinks, when all you had was soda to mix your stuff with. Mountain Dew(regular or code red) with vodka or whiskey was a common one. Its so simple and dumb but they taste perty good and are easy to make when you've been drinking.
