Wireless Airlift controller

Looking to get a set of Airlift loadlifter 5000 airbags for my 8" lifted truck. Anybody have experience with the wireless controller system? Or any thoughts? Also i have about 11" from frame to top of leaf spring will i need spacers for the bags to fit right?

Yep, you'll need spacers for the bags.

I have the Air Lift bags on my 07.

No compressor yet, I just have the fill valves on my rear plate.

I've been looking at that wireless air setup as well.

The thing about the wireless system, is what happens if you lose the remote or something breaks. Are there provisions to manually fill the bags. Im sure you could rig something up.

As long as you run the regular fill valves and plumb everything in I don't see why not.

I'm also just tempted just to run a viair compressor and a tank to also have an on board air supply.

Had it on my 01 (not it gets driven much) in the toolbox. I removed the toolbox and put it on my 07. Had to pull the compressor and tank out since I needed to fill it with tools and supplies.
Meant to install it under the 07 (since I would acutally use it on there), just never had a chance and I think I sold it in the fall as I left it at my buddy's shop and he couldn't find his old setup to install on a tow truck so I told him to use mine.
9gallon tank was going to be a little tight to squeeze under the 07 anyway.

If anyone cares to know I talked to both firestone and airlift today. For a regular setup there needs to be about 8" between bottom of frame to top of leaf springs. I have 11" so i will be purchasing a spacer to make up the difference. Airlift sells a lock n lift system that uses multiple spacer that you can lock together to achieve your desired height. However im looking at firestones spacers, they are a single piece, im thinking they will be stronger but who knows.

I believe it's 8" between the upper and lower mount.

If you flip the upper mount upside down it will be at the bottom of the frame.
