Fuel filters stop 100% of the contaminants in fuel from reaching your engine. Fuel injectors never clog. Yeah, I thought I would add two statements that everyone knows are false to add to the plausibility of your post. I've had to replace worn idle and main jets. Most people usually just turn the carb in as a core for a rebuilt unit when they are that far gone or don't feel like rebuilding themselves.

what kinda crap as you saying? You're taking a shot at my earlier post?? I'm not your normal guy, I don't turn in "bad" carbs. Whats a bad carb? Did it stay out late one night?? And who mentioned fuel injectors? Don't throw in verbiage that contains nothing to the topic at hand. The initial post was about jets, more precisely main jets. They DO NOT ever go bad; EVER. If they become clogged you clean them. If you pour cement down them, well I'll give you that. You may have to replace it. But aside from the ridiculous, you don't have jets wear out. They are not a moving part and they are not in a situation where fatigue from heat or stress is a concern. Let's keep this real.
