DP Tuner ?

On the DP Tuner website they recommend having an intake first. What options are there for the intake?

Thanks, Mike.

Don't forget exhaust and Valve Body, after the gauges.

I did the 6637 and Waler BTM in prep for the dp. Then I ordered dipricol gauges and dp from Dennis @ ITP. I am very satisfied with my gauges, just my 2 cents. Didn't know if you are looking for some or already picked out what you want. Good luck!

Yeah, I'm still looking into what gauges I want. I was looking at the Isspros with the white background. What valve body do I get? My 4" MBRP exhaust is sitting no the shelf waiting to be installed this weekend.

Can't help with the valve body recommendation but I have a write-up on my 4" exhaust if you like them. Just some gotchas to look for. PM if you are interested.

There are 3 that people in here like. I have the BTS-VB and installed it myself. Some have the JW-VB and install it themselves. Some like to do the TRANSGO kit, where you do the work on the VB yourself. Either would be fine.

You can do the transgo your self if you have mild mechanical skills if not a BTS or John woods VB before you get the chip. Though if you get the JW you can get the DP first and not have to get additional tunning.

JD is right about the JW. If you go with the BTS-VB, you will need to tell Jody and Brian that you are getting the other. They will tune for the other.

According to Gene, the foil is actually a benefit to intake air charge temperature.

I remember that thread.. I thought by the end of it.. most thought the air wasnt there long enough to change temp..Also.. The foil was on the hot side, instead of the cool side where we all thought would make more sense??? It was a while ago..
