How to Lower a 98 Expedition

I have a 98 4x4 Expedition without air suspension and want to know how to lower the front ride height by 2-3". I think the rear can be lowered by changing springs. But the front does not have springs and has a tortion bar system. Can it be lowered, and if so how? Thanks for any comments.

normally to raise a torsion bar system you adjust the bars. but to lower it you would most likely need a kit that would be reindexed to allow the front to go down. i would also check to see if a kit is offered. if you were to crank those torsion bars so that you got three inches of drop the camber would be so far out of wack the tires wouldn't make to an alignment shop.

I haven't personally been under a 98 expy to see the suspension system. but there should be someone tha has a set of lowering arms.
