I have been tossing the idea of putting some lights in the center of the front bumper. I would like to have it where they come on when i turn my lights on bright. So what all is involved in doing this. FYI: my truck is not equipped with the lower lights in the bumper.
You could add a relay that is operated (turned on/off) by the hi-beam switch (you'll have to get a wiring diagram or use a voltmeter/test light to find the wire that is charged/activated when you switch to brights) and tap in to your fuse box for power (I don't know how to wire in a new fuse - in the past I've just used an open spot for power and added an in-line fuse).
find the hot wire for when your high beams are on. then use a good "T" connector and run a wire to the relay. make sure to seal that connector up real good.
and mount the relay with the pins facing down...facing up collects water and will short it out.
ok, what if i find the high beam wire and run a tee there. Then tee my two hot wires on my offroad light and connect a the tees with a wire and a fuse. then ground my lights to the frame? Will this work? And would it void my warrenty?
Alright i have the wiring idea down now i have to mount them some how. I touched the pos and neg wires to the battery and they are going to be bright!!

. if you just tap into the high beams without a relay you will constantly be blowing fuses due to the extra current your pulling threw the circuit, if you put in a bigger fuse you risk melting the wiring. your best bet would use a relay and if you want use the high beam wire as the ""trigger for turning on the relay/fog lights
like exactly how tylus drew. it's the most safest/reliable way
