temp gauge

temp gauge
were do i hook an after market temp gauge up at? i just bought a sunpro temp gauge and oil pressure gauge, i got the oil pressure hooked up now i need to know were to put the other one.

I was wondering the same thing. Any convenient spots to get a water temp reading besides the radiator hoses?

Mine was mounted on the drivers side below the #2 injector. Dont know if that is optimum, but it was done by someone else b4 me

i cant get my truck to register about 160-170 TOPS. Not sure where to start on how to figure out whats wrong.

actually thats probly reading right cause the fan on these things are huge! and the radiator iS huge! so really thats probly right not 100% sure.

I have mine in the head.
195 while driving.
190 down to about 185 idling at 15 degree temps after it was to operating temp.

and here i am with 70 for the high today, drove 15 miles to wally world, spent 10 mins there, 2 miles to oreilly's where it idled for 30 mins, then drove about another 13 miles home, never saw 160deg.
