My fuel filter light has been on since I bought the truck. I replaced filter and drained fuel/water seperator, didnt help. About 2 weeks ago I pulled screen and cleaned it, it was completely clogged, and that turned the light out for about 30 min of driving then back on. Now, I ran algaecide through both tanks, just replaced filter again and checked screen, its clean as can be. Yet the light stays on. Any thoughts?
unplug the sensor and see if it goes out, if so then your sensor is grounded out and needs to be replaced
Well I finally found the sensor on my 95' they have it hidden at the bottom of the bowl pretty well. Ok I unplugged it, connection seemed a little loose but light went out. Plugged it back in real tight and still no light!! Thanks Joe, I'll try to rep you but dont know if I'll be able again yet.
