It's just a new networking feature that the software upgrade supports - it should make notification of get togethers and such a bit easier.

I think it's just the initial "friend request" notification that is an email.
But I don't know for sure.

I got the first one with the friend request,,,and then I got 2 more when you made 2 other post...lol One they wouldn't let me access and the other one was for here.

The one you can't access is probably in the CL forum.
You better disable your email notifications and just use your user cp -
or "break" the friendship.

Got your friend request at the same time I got one from tiny. Now He just posted(Got email notification) So we'll see. Maybe it just doing it a couple times.

Hi there, friends.
Hey, go to your control panel and the "options" tab. Drop down and you'll find a radio button for *buddy makes a new post* emails. Make sure NO is checked. Then drop down a line or two and you will see the exact same question again. Check the NO button again.
I just did mine, and now we'll see if it stops the emails.

Okay, that seems to work. No more emails.
Now, that seems to be a bug. First, the exact same option is listed twice, and second the option still refers to buddies instead of friends.
