Interior 'up-grade' question....

Just like everybody else, I have the issue w/ the sun visiors in my Bronco II. I've read threads on how it install Explorer sunvisors, the ones w/ clips @ the end. Does anyone know IF the sun visors out of a F-150, which are bigger, can be mounted in a Bronco II?? I found a nice pair on Ebay, but the seller said they were 'much bigger' than the OEM. Thanks for your thoughts....
Also, MIGHT anyone know where I can get a set of door handles/arm rests for my truck?? I had the panels reupholstered for $50.00/ea but it took so long for me to re-install them, I misplaced my arm rests somehow. I've tried all my local 'bone-yards' where I live in NJ, but they ALL laugh when I say "it's a 1984....." Thanks for any help.....

LMC Truck Parts: Chevy Chevrolet Blazer S10 GMC Jimmy S15 Ford Bronco Ranger Pickup Pick Up Accessories/Catalogs has all kinds of hard-to-find pieces and parts as well as replacements for just about anything you'd need to freshen up your interior or exterior and otherwise. They are a little on the spendy side, but at least you know you're getting new parts and not having to sit and wait and go junkyard diving and hoping you can find something that matches. Just my $0.02

Thanks for the info. Yea, I already have been that route. I got the panels themselves re-done, so they great. The only interior door parts I saw @ LMC was the panels themselves, which I don't think come w/ the handles. Oh well, well just have to 'rig' something 'till I can go 'diving' a junkyard or two. I picked up a really nice dash on an old wreck I found up in NY state. Maybe I can get lucky again..... Thanks.

I'll have to peruse through their site and possibly do some Googling. I could have sworn LMC or someone had the replacement handles - other than biting the bullet and going to the stealership.

EDIT: Not sure if you can use the full-size parts, but they are available here:
http://www.dennis-carpenter.com/

Tried looking on http://www.autokrafters.com, but didn't find anything.

It might be too late but I replaced the door panels in my 84 with some from a late 80's-early 90's Ranger at the wreckers. They are a molded plastic style rather than the flat style used in the Gen 1 trucks.I had to drill a couple of holes for an armrest bracket but other than that they bolted in and the color matched.Bronco II,Rangers and Ranger ext cab all use basically the same door so you can choose from any of them.

Yea, these are the molded plastic style. I've got a feeling that they got accidently tossed out by my two young kids while packing the truck for a camping trip
No problem, I'll rig up two rope handles til I can come across I boneyard I can dive thru. Thanks everybody for your assistance!!

The armrests listed on Dennis Carpenter Ford Car, F-100 Pickup Truck, Tractor and Cushman Scooter Restoration Parts for the 80s model F-100s /F-150s looked the same as the 1st Gen Rangers and BIIs, which is why I suggested that route. If you can track down the part numbers and compare, you might be in luck. Otherwise, you might check out eBay or the junkyards. And, no problem! Always glad to help if I can

Arctic Wolf,
Thanks....that would be great. I stopped by 4 more yards yesterday and not a thing. Here in N.J., they are making ALL the junkyards clean up their acts due to pollution and most of them are just closing down OR leaving the state. IF you were to find me some maroon arm rests, I'd be more than happy to forward you the $ for the parts and the shipping.
Thanks again!!

I not really sure. I DO know that the 84-86' seems to swap parts out. I think that that there was a Bronco II earlier than 84'. If you could keep eye out, that would be great. I saw a pair on a Ebay, but I was not sure if I could paint or dye it maroon. It was tan in color...... Thanks again........

'84-'88 (1st Gen) BII and '83-'88 (1st Gen) Ranger parts are fairly interchangeable.
