2nd gear grinds.....sometimes

I haven't driven since I told dad about it on Monday. he drove it yesterday and said it didn't grind one time. I'll drive it tomorrow and see if it happens some more or not.

Ford type 3.03 3 speed manual all syncromesh transmission.
Usually all you need are the brass syncronizer blocker rings, the syncro shoes and the snap rings.
Rarely do you need to replace the entire syncronizer assemblies, which are BIG BUCK parts.
There is one blocker ring for 1st gear syncro, two for 2nd/3rd gear syncro.
Each syncro used three shoes and two snap rings.
The same parts were used from 1963 thru 1996, so should be EZ to find at NAPA, indie parts stores.
You will also need the gasket set, and while you have it apart, replace the front & rear bearings and seals.
If you want the Ford part numbers, I can type 'em all in about a minute. Then NAPA can cross the Ford part numbers over to the brands they sell.
