Thumbs up finally modded

well, i finally did my 6637 and foil delete!! the 6637 was super easy but the foil delete was a little more involved. not to bad since ive got a tiny little bit of mechanical
knowledge. just wanted to say thanks again to all of yall because i knew nothing about any of these simple, almost free mods until i found FTE... if any of you have any knowledge of turbos please look for my next post about what i found when i took the intake tube off to do my 6637... sorry dont have enough room here for that...thank you in advance and HAPPY STROKIN'!!!!!!!!

Congrats on starting the mods. Did you paint the IC tubes, or just clean them up?

Oh, and don't panic when you hear a woosh sound when you let off the accelerator going down the freeway, or when you hear that sucking air sound as you start to go. That's all normal.

I only cleaned up the IC tubes...took all the foil and crap insulation off and scraped the glue, then hit them with some emory cloth and it polished up quite nice. And as for the woosh noises, I read plenty of threads on the subject and knew to expect that but thanks for the heads up...plan on doing a muffler delete so.....I LOVE THE NOISE!!!!!!!!!!

I won't be doing the foil delete, but FINALLY did the Hutch & Harpoon mods. SOOOOO worth it! Yeah, I had the ITP hutch kit sitting on a shelf for almost 2 years.... DON'T WAIT!!! Right after I did it, I drove to my local Shell and filled with 28.7 gallons when it cut off. 29.5 total gallons had it in the filler neck! No more dribbling in the last 4-5 gallons! It was a bit of a bear doing it by myself, in my driveway, but I got it done.

Seriously, make these (Hutch & Harpoon) your next mods.
