I have an f-150 that stalls. I happens like this. I pulled up to a driveway. The OD says check gauges. OK, the motor stalled. but in nuetral and started, with no problem. Dropped in drive and hit the gas and nothing. so I drove while idling to a spot and put in park. Motor idling...step on gas and nothing. This has happened 3 time in the last month or so. The check engine light is now on after the second time.

Does anyone have an idea of the cause. I have yet to get it read. One friend said maybe the O2 sensor or the cam sensor. Thanks

 

Could Be A # Of Things 1. Idle Speed Incorrect 2. Fuel Filter Clogged/or Water In System 3. Fault In Fuel System Or Sensors 4. Faulty Emissions System Components 5. Faulty Spark Plugs 6. Vacuum Leak At The Throttle Body, Intake Manifld Or Vacuum Hoses. Pulled These From The Haynes Manual, Not The Best But At Least Somewhere To Start.
