Fuel Selector Valve electrical Problem

Fuel Selector Valve electrical Problem
I have just replace my fuel selector valve on my 85 F250 302 and it is not starting. If you bypass the valve it runs fine? The valve is a ford OEM valve and it is brand new. When I test the electrical conection at the valve the power switches between the on and off position non stop. Any ideas??
