I took some measurments, for as good as they are with the truck sitting on unleveled ground. From the bottom of my door it's anywhere from 18 to 20 inches. It's not accurate tho so I wouldn't take'em too serious. The steps cut some clearance.. Looks like it's around 15 inches from the steps.

Yup, a 3'' body lift. Truck sits as high as a stock 4x4. I wish I could add another three inches of lift. I know once I start working again the rear is getting a pair of add-a-leaves. Mr. Darrell, do you know about how high adding just one leave would raise the truck? I'd like to be able to haul more and add a bit of rake to the truck. I don't want to tip the front too far forward tho - worried about the front tires rubbing. What is th average way to go about adding leaves, anyway? Do most guys just add one leave? I don't know how that works.

No doubt I'm coming over, pizza is one of my number 1 foodz. I was going to ask what you were eating for supper. We had spagetti!
You should be able to fit 33 inch tires under you F-250. Have you ever tried too???
I took the F-150 out today to see how she does on ice. First time out on ice. Nice and easy does it, I didn't notice anything different - until I got on it just a little too hard. I did it on purpose. Swung my **** end around, or a least half way. Thought I was going to have a heart attack when I noticed my truck was heading for a big ole' pole! To my surpise (again) my truck actually stopped okay when I gently applied the brakes. I was going real slow in a parking lot so I imagine if I was going any faster I wouldn't have been able to stop so quickly!
Man, what a rush. I wish we had an empty lot around here for me to play in!

Well, for my 500th post which should turn me in to an Elder User (I'm pretty sure) I would like to start by saying yes, I do hold myself to a bit higher standard. What I meant by my last response to this thread was that it was like 11:00, I was beat from wheelbarrowing a little over a cord of big firewood rounds through the woods, carrying/throwing them across a ditch, and then stacking 'em high and heavy in Ol' Blue, and cartin' 'em across the field to stack 'em up against the woodshed, and I just got done reading that long crazy thread, and I was like "yeah, I read it, whatever, I'm going to bed."
Actually, no what I really meant was "yeah, damn good engine, great low end torque, gets reasonable gas milage, and is still chuggin along when the rest of the truck is rusted away to nothing" Too bad the thread had so much BS in it, but it's cool that the thread lasted as long as it did/has/will.
