When i switched engines on 92 F150 i did a stupid move and just cut the fuel lines and hosed clamped them to that nipple on that coupling to the fuel rail. So now im paying for it now because it got so cold that the that hose wont seal on the nipple and will leak fuel. So for a temporary fix can i just connect the rubber hose to my filter then to my fuel rail?
You can do that but you need to use high-pressure hose rated at 40psi or greater and use two small hose clamps at each connection. Route the hose very carefully and use zip ties so the hose doesn't vibrate against any components.
never use ruber fuel line it killed two of my friends they had it on the carb on their mustang got in an accident and were trapped between a bank and a school bus the fuel line pulled off the carb and sprayed the dizzy they burned to death.....
get -an line and use this fitting on the fuel filter
