I have an aftermarket dvd player with a backup camera hooked up to it and love it!
Makes it easier to hook up trailers, safer for backing up, I can have it on while towing small trailers to keep an eye on them, and I also added a camera to the rear of my Weekend Warrior trailer so I can see everything behind the trailer while travelling or backing it up.
I have a Peak 7" monitor and camera system from Sams' Club in my tow truck.
Camera has a wireless feed to the monitor. The wire in the picture is the power for the monitor. I'll be wiring it in permanently soon.

Sounds like a very functional setup. Does the head unit support 2 cameras, or do you move one to the back of the trailer when it's attached?
I was chatting with the sales guy, and he suggested setting up the camera on a plug, and just moving it to the back of the trailer when I'm towing.
I have one and rarely use it. It works real good though. I used to use it for hooking up to the landscape trailer but since I do that a few times a day, I end up right under the ball every time by just using my mirrors.
I have a Pioneer Avic-900bt, I have heard that the boot up time of the 900bt pretty much renders the camera useless. I have had the Yukon XL factory nav with the camera and sensors, it was just OK. I now have the rear camera option that displays in the rear view mirror of the 08 Expy and it is much better. Though the screen is much smaller on the rearview mirror it is by far more useful, really clear and really easy to figure distance and width.

I bought 2 cameras (well one was free with my Pioneer). I have them both wired up under the dash so when i hook up the trailer I just unplug the RCA plug from the truck camera and plug in the RCA plug that goes to the trailer. It just takes a few seconds.

What kind of camera do you have? It looks like to me that you have it mounted in your tailgate handle? I've been trying to think of a place to mount one when I get one. That seems like a good place to put one so it wouldn't get stolen.

I have the Pioneer camera and it fit just right in my tailgate handle but it won't aim low enough to see the trailer ball. I do like the way it works being up high though, it has a nice field of vision.
Maybe the newer tailgate handles for the camera equipted Superdutys will fit.
