Do you have any idea how to secure it in? I got the AVH-4000 DVD and was trying to put it in today, didn't have any luck. The one you have coming is built the same as mine. Oh if you got it from the same place as the Boyo camera, you will have to sign for it. Thats where I just got mine. And it sucks when you look up the tracking # and it says returned...I called them and had it shipped to my dads.

Yeah I know what you mean. I usually don't have to sign for anything though.

No can't say that I do. Did yours come with a mounting kit?
Nope. It didn't have anything to mount it. I went to WallyWorld, and got what they had, and it was a waste of time. I was looking in the Excursion forum, and I found a double din install kit. But Im not sure that will work or not. I have sent several PM'S to people that has installed a double din,and haven't got any responses yet. The problem is where you put the tools in to release the spring keepers, Gonna have to have something there to keep it from sliding out, plus the thing that slides on the back, got to have that also. That is the only thin that the Walmart kit had,but still didn't help...
I thought that Sonicelectronix always sent a mounting kits with their HUs, maybe that's just on some of them. I know that you are suppose to trim the top and bottom lip of the radio opening and leave the sides because that is what you mounting kit mounts to.

Please tell me what year and model truck you installed this pioneer in?
I like the way it looks, and want to do this to my 97 F250LD
It's in a 99 Expedition. I think the dash is the same in your vehicle as what I have. It takes a little modification to your dash to make it fit though.
