Eveyone who doesn't know[LMCtruck.com] They simply have every single thing you could possibly want for your ford. from complete grills to the lowliest of seals for a park lamp lens all OE style and a lot of custom stuff just have a drool rag handy while flipping through the catalog. HE-HE
Lmc doesn't have em just the inserts and headlight surrounds? Thanks "CN Spots" found it! Seems they know no one has them too judging from the price $500 ouch!!! Thanks though that looks like thats what I'll have to do unless anyone knows of a less expensive route?
national parts depot and dennis carpenter both carry them as well all three are right around $500.
I have seen them on Ebay but then you are taking your chances.
depending on the condition of your grille and your skill you may be able to straighten it out your self.
i have a decent one to replace mine but my front end is so jacked up the replacement grill is about 1 1/2 in wider than the front end of the truck. Think i need to do some body work.
Dennis Carpenter is the reproducer of the 1971/72 grill shell, other sellers buy it from him.
This grille shell is on BACK ORDER, and even DC does not know when he will have any more as it has something to do with his supplier of aluminum.
According to DC, the aluminum now available is too thin to use in repro grilles. That's what I was told by DC when I called last week to ask about availability.
There are no DC 1966, 1973/77, 1978/79 grille shells available either...same problemo.
Thanks! Mine took on a little 4 point buck at 50 mph so.... there will be no saving this one amazingly it didn't hurt the rest of the truck! I'll find one?
