Bad odour
At work we use 99 windstar with 3.0L and air conditionning, truck ventilation had bad odour. Company took it to dealer under warranty, they replaced the pollen filter???, they told manager that it had mould in it???, how could it happen to a van not a year old, and almost not using air on it. Please submit info to email adress

Bad odour
More than likely the filter traps moisture as well as any dirt or pollen in the air . Combine a dirty filter w moisture and its going to breed bacteria .Especially if you live in an area with high humidity . Those filters are pricey , only solution is to leave the filter out . Those things have only been used for the last few yrs ...we all survived w/o them
