Duals on a 2000 4.6 expdn.
I have a 2000 sport expdn with a 4.6 and a K&N filter. Thinking of going to duals out the rear. What size pipes are on there now and what do I need to go with without losing any power. Thinking of going to the muffler shop for a custom job from cat back. Also do I need a muffler on each pipe or does the cats muffle most of the noise ( I would like a lil more throaty noise but not loud ) Will I get better performance and gas mileage out of true duals? im gonna cut my cats off mine and the h-pipe run them out the back with a set off single chamber flowmasters they should sound good. ive herd them on a friends mustang quiet while idiling throaty when u get on it
