I can only assume it is typically the same valve as on early broncos if you visit tomsbroncoparts.com under online catalog and fuel you will find a nice pic of a manual fuel valve that should be the same as to which you are talking about
That is correct. The valve is aftermarket or from a later model. I believe the later models had a plate that read Main,Aux and off. Mine has the valve no plate. I would like to see a picture of the plate so I can make one for my truck.
Thank You for your replies!
Mine has two aux saddle tanks 15 gal each, the pointer on the valve handle points Main (center), for Main, Left for Left and Right for Right
No plate, never saw the reason to have a plate you can't read when you're driving.
My uncle's valve is also a three way gate valve...but the difference is he's got a plate and the valve is mounted on the floor between the shifter and the seat...a better set up I think.
All aftermarket stuff, not FoMoCo but I think my Uncles was dealer installed in 1970....his truck is a '70 F250 straight beast...funny shift pattern on his top loader....Reverse in Behind 1st (granny), not in Front like on both my NP 4spds.
