Again you must have not read my post! Go back and read my posts instead of making your self look like a fool. The base models are not 50k they are 10k cheaper than the loaded models. Check for your self on the ford build and price. Or perhaps they are also wrong?? like everyone else who has gotten these trucks for the same prices as i got mine.

Just in case you would like to read what i wrote here's the link https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/8...ml#post6989329

If you cant even be bothered to do that then here's what i wrote

40,190 for the base model platinum and that has an invoice of about 35,000 and you can apply a $3000 rebate on that truck. If they are trying to charge you anymore than $42k for a fully loaded or $32k for a base model then they are trying to have you over. The market is still slow and any more than invoice they are taking the ****. There have been people who have got fully loaded platinums for $40k without any type of pin. I think i got mine for a great price and ain't worried if anyone got there's cheaper. I'm happy because i was nearly going to pay $38K for a loaded 08 lariat but choose the 09. At the time there were no rebates when i ordered the truck but when it turned up there was $3000 of extra rebates. Otherwise it would have been $6000k over the 08 lariat.

Just a heads up in case the incentives would get worse when you take delivery.

I just spoke to the Washington area rep as i been having problems with my dealership for other issues and he again said that only rebates at time of purchase can be applied. He said that if your dealer is willing to do that then it's out of their own pocket for the difference. He did say that it says this on the terms and conditions section on the website. He said it's not rare for dealers to do this though.

Im in VA and there are $4k in incentives now over the $3k that i got. There are $3k of normal rebates and $1k of another rebate that im unsure the name of which is not listed but the dealers can apply it.

You should be able to get at least 3k in rebates, I don't know where you are in Wa but this is for Seattle:

<TR><TD class=whitehd height="10" bgcolor="black" colspan="2">INCENTIVE DETAILS for Zip Code 98101</TD> </TR><TR><TD class=boldtext colspan="2">Retail Customer Cash (Program #11620) </TD></TR><TR><TD class=boldtext> Cash Incentive:</TD> <TD class=text>$3,000 </TD></TR><TR><TD class=boldtext> Offer Valid:</TD> <TD class=text>01/13/2009 - 02/02/2009 </TD></TR><TR><TD class=boldtext valign="top"> Disclaimer:</TD> <TD class=text align="left" valign="top">Program #11620:Take new retail delivery from dealer stock by 2/2/2009. See dealer for residency restrictions and complete details.

If there are any other dealers around you check with them. Around here you can get a better deal buy driving 20 min. out of town. Then once you get the deal you want drive by and show the dealer who wouldn't work with you your new truck.</TD></TR>

I got the X-plan price.
These are without the rebates included
X-plan: $41,706.11
Invoice: $41,798.30
MSRP: $46,095

I did not have to put any money down to order it.

Ford is only offering 2k rebate right now in Texas.

What they mean by in dealer stock is you can only have the rebate that is currently running if truck you ordered is in stock with the dealer at the time of the rebates. You can order a truck but to get the rebates the truck has to be on that dealers lot. Dont let the dealer tell you any different. Some are just using the badly worded ford terms and conditions so that they can shift more of the stuff they have sitting about.

Interesting, that is not how my dealer explained it, but perhaps it is different for Washington versus Midwest where I am located. Either way, I don't see the incentives dropping, so it probably isn't even an issue.

Bsimmer is 100% correct about what dealer stock means. If you get a good dealer then they will give you the rebate from when you order the truck or when it comes in, which ever is better. My dealer will, but Bsimmer says the dealer he buddy works at will not. That is all up to the dealer though.

That sounds like a Canada price not a US price. I didn't know you could put enough options on an FX4 to make it cost that much. It mush have had everything including the kitchen sink.
