Hi,
I have a '79 F250 Super Cab....I noticed that my gas guage is pegged on full.....Key on. Key off. Main tank only, the aux tank sender is non-fucntional....Any thoughts?

If you pull the fuse to the dash gauges, does the needle fall back? I'm sorry, I don't have my manual here with me otherwise I'd know exactly which fuse. Either the needle is physically binding to make it stay pegged, or there is an electrical short that's keeping it on even with the key off.
