If the seal is bad a sharp knife works great. Is it a 1 piece or a slider?

If you're careful some soap water on the outside and a push from the inside should do it. It's good to have a helper to avoid dropping it.

If your not saving the seal a sharp razor knife is quick and easy. If the seal has a locking strip pull that out and the cut, its even easier.

I used that yellow 3M weatherstrip adhesive a long time ago. It stayed together for a lot of years till I got a better window.
