rim color?

The basic steel wheels are called Argent Wheels-I don't know the color name-check sticker in door panel for paint codes. I not sure if wheel color is there..check dealer if they have paint for this.....

"argent" is the only name i recall for it. rustoleum makes a silver "steel wheels" spray paint that hold up on steel wheels good. black sometimes looks good, and it doesnt matter if you get overspray on the tires. at least you can always repaint painted rims. when chrome rusts, theres not much you can do about it.

When chrome rusts, true - not at home, but they can be re-chromed. Old Cragar SS classic spoke style might be worth it. Might not cost as much as new if you have a local place that's reasonable. Might cut down on having a tire shop grinding the bead seats & using silicone too.

i had some rusty cragars once, cleaned up the center caps and clear coated them, painted the rest of the rim gold, put on chrome trim rings and put then on my 1st car. ('79 amc concord 2 door, mettallic green.) looked cool.
