Excited about this weekend.
We will finally be able to try out our new to us '04 F250 this weekend on a camping trip to the desert. This will be the first time towing our travel trailer with the new truck. I'm anxious to feel the difference between our previous Toyota Tacoma and the F250.

The F250 isn't anything unusual, XLT SuperCab, shortbox with a 5.4L Triton, Auto. I posted pictures of it earlier prior to purchasing it. The trailer is just shy of 18 ft. long but is a bit on the heavy side at around 3800 lbs. (loaded) because of its all molded fiberglass construction. I plan to post a full report of my towing experience next week after returning. I'll try to include some pictures too. Again, I think the interesting part of this trip will be towing the trailer with the F250 compared to the Tacoma (V6). It should be like night and day. If we can climb the mountain passes and maintain the speed limit I'll be a happy camper.

I like your truck already man. The 250 should pull circles around the Tacoma. I used to tow with a Ranger, and there's no comparing a compact/half ton to a full size
