Bought a mower...maybe
well, i cut a deal on a mower, and am going to start making plans. i am buying (hopefully) a New demo unit. its a:
Bad Boy Diesel 28 HP liquid cooled Cat Diesel
60" hydraulic lift deck
roll bars
only 125 hrs
list price:$11,700+tax
my price:$8500 out the door!
it should be a beast. my 26 hp gas unit is a beast, so i cant wait for the new diesel! will let ya know more soon. this purchase will include a visit to arkansas.

all the stuff other companys say make thier heaviest mower are standard on all Bad Boys, even homeowner models! heres how it breaks down:

Sweeet, but I'll stick with mine. I can mow the yard in 15 min., 150 PTO HP and 14 ft wide. Just have to remember not to lock the brakes on the turns. Makes a mess of the lawn and the wife hates it.

haha, i have bush hogged the yard before with the old 930 Case Comfort king, and a 6 foot 3 pt hitch hog. I approached mowers looking at them like i do a tractor and bush hog lol. looking at stuff like deck thickness, biggest frame, most weight lol. weight:hp ratios and stuff lol. IS THAT A 14 FOOT 3 POINT HITCH??? holy cow!!! that wouldnt fit through lots of the gaits around here.

John Deere 1418 mower, 3 point hitch, 14 ft. wide swath, almost 15 ft. wide overall. Yea, gotta have a 16 ft. gate.

Oh, wait, I only have a 8,700 sqft lot; that mower might be overkill. But at least I could mow the whole cul-de-sac in no time at all!
