got my frame boxed in!

christmas/ new year project got my frame boxed in!, before boxing it in i installed a 1 1 /4 conduit tubing through the frame for my air lines wiring ect, also installed my brake line inside of the frame, made pockets for acess to the bed bolts, narowed the rear frame for the fuel tank, welded in the nuts for the tank mount, boxed in the rear in an angle so the tank would fit, welded in the front frame with rad support to the crown vic front end, sandblasted, primed and painted the frame, pics in my gallery!

You've been really busy I see......very nice work on the frame! I would like to offer up one suggestion. I know your frame is primed, but for safety sake, I would weld in some gussets where your rear air bag bridge plate meets the frame. As it stands now it's just the plate thickness resisting any flexing right to left. Otherwise it looks awesome so far.

thanks guy`s! i thought of installing gussets on the side of the rear bridge but figured it should not flex, that plate is 1/4 inch thick and extends to the bottom of the frame, the whole frame itself would have to twist before the bridge would.i would put in a gusset but its already painted but thanks for the suggestion!

I can see you have put a lot of work into that thing. I imagine you are glad to have that part done. I do a lot of fabricating and I know from experience that it does not go quickly. How's your back feeling???

Later Man...
